4 in Houston Arrested for Drug Trafficking

Thee people in Houston, including a 72 year-old man, were arrested on drug charges after authorities found cocaine and marijuana inside a home in Brazoria County Monday.

According to officials with the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, 72 year-old Apolinar Saenz, 59 year-old Alfred Guajardo, 55 year-old Virginia Guajardo, and 65 year-old Maria Sanchez are charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. The four were arrested at Guajardo’s home in Rosharon at approximately 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Each of the four is being held at the Brazoria County jail in lieu of $110,000 bail.

The arrests are a result of an investigation by the sheriff’s office narcotics unit. Deputies recovered two kilograms of powder cocaine, seven ounces of marijuana and $1,970 in cash at the home.
