The daughter of a polygamist sect leader who was charged with helping orchestrate the murders of four people, including an 8-year-old child, plead not guilty on Wednesday.

The 44-year-old woman has been a fugitive for nearly 20 years since the killings took place. The woman is accused with the June 1988 slaying of three men who chose to leave to polygamist sect as well as the daughter of one of the victims. Prosecutors say that the woman and her half-brother directed the killings after a “sign from God.”
