Together 15 law enforcement agencies in the Houston area launched a website yesterday to help prevent gang crime in Harris County.  The website,, allows citizens to provide any anonymous tips about gang members or activity. provides photos and information of wanted gang members, a listing of active gangs, and pictures of symbols and hand signs used by local gangs.

Houston Police Chief Charles McClelland stated, “This website is a proactive measure.  We are not going to wait around and see gang crimes rise again and get out of control, like in some other parts of the United States”.
