Houston police officers recently arrested two teenagers suspected of fatally stabbing a man earlier this month.  On February 6th, 28-year old Angel Cuevas was found dead from multiple stab wounds at his apartment in Southeast Houston.  Police are also looking for a third man they believe was involved in the slaying.

Police arrested the 14 and 16-year old boys, took them to the Harris County Probation Department and charged them with juvenile criminal charges.  The teens told police that they were at Cuevas’s apartment the day he was killed but that a 19-year old Angel F. Cantu committed the murder.  In addition, the boys told investigators that Cuevas and Cantu had been fighting when Cantu began beating Cuevas.  Cuevas then attempted to jump out of one of the apartment’s windows but Cantu pulled out a knife and began stabbing him.
