Eleven children were found inside the home of a registered sex offender in Dayton, Texas one month ago.
According to authorities, the children ranged in age from 5 months to 11 years old. Eight of them were confined to a small, dark bedroom. Some children had restraints on tying them to the bed. According to Child Protective Services spokeswoman Gwen Carter, ten adults were living in the 1,700 square foot home and none of them found the situation unusual.
A month has passed since police raided the home and they are still trying to determine how the children were related to one another. The kids have now all been placed in foster homes.
The home was listed as the address of registered sex offender, Mark E. Marsh III, who was convicted of criminal sexual conduct with a 15 year old girl 15 years ago.
Police are still investigating.
