Many being tricked into smuggling drugs

Posted on October 5th, 2011 No Comments

Recently, police are finding that more and more innocent people are being tricked into smuggling drugs.

For example, one man who was traveling to Houston was tricked into carrying  2 bags which he didn’t know had $20,000 worth of cocaine inside of them through U.S. customs in exchange for a free bus ride on a bus owned by a relative.

Also, a college student in El Paso says police found a duffle bag that had 112 pounds of marijuana inside the trunk of his car.  He had no idea how the bag got inside of his car and describes the day as the worst day of his life.

Fortunately, a prosecutor convinced a  judge dropped the drug possession charges.
